topography (red and black)
A series of nine pieces, inspired by the traditional patch design in quilting. Hand knit with an extra fine wool stainless steel blend yarn on rice paper. The torque of the yarn on the delicate paper creates a pattern of radiating lines. The paper is machine sewn in concentric circles on a felt backing.
