sea stories

Sea Stories is a small series that came about in an effort to work knitting on paper in a larger format. The circular shapes are hand knit in a heavier cotton. The thicker yarn contrasts with simple lace motifs, brought out by the darker blue backing. Smaller paper shapes with water color wash are machine sewn on one side, resembling a line of pebbles worn smooth by the ocean waves.
